Come and spend 24 hours resting in beautiful surroundings, with delicious food and facilities for you to swim, play golf, take sauna, play tennis, walk along the cliffs, sleep or just sit taking in the beautiful views. Take time to unwind and find focus in your life again.
We want to live full, but not frantic, lives. We desire to be present to the moment and the people in our lives. But we are too often pulled by more commitments than we can manage. Wherever we are, part of us is often somewhere else.
This retreat opens to space for listening to God about our entangled lives. For twenty-four hours, Dr. Carla Waterman will lead us through a creative guided retreat based on Psalm 90, inviting us to engage God and our lives with our minds, hearts and hands as we identify our various commitments. Personal time will be offered to explore these commitments, and to listen to our loving Father speak peace to his chaos-prone children.
The retreat takes place in Ravenhall Hotel, Scarborough, and runs from Sunday 1st to Monday 2nd June. Single, twin and double rooms are available, and the retreat costs £90 for hotel accommodation, meals, teaching and materials. Please book before February 1st. A booking form and deposit of £30 is required to secure your place.
