Hey you girls and ladies out there… did you know that Proverbs 31 is all about the bling!! ('her worth is MORE than jewels or rubies!!’) Well, all things rubylicious has been born in the brand of RUBYGIRL UK... Real. Unique, Beautiful. You.
RUBYGIRL UK engages, energises and equips teenage girls and young women to ‘realise their value, reach their potential and revolutionise their world’. We do that through an innovative collaboration of education, youth culture, life coaching and entertainment that include the NOCN accredited 'LOVE ME' self esteem and aspirations course (aka 'Botox for the soul'! ), the 'REAL ME' Roadshow,' U-nique' self worth interactive workshops, 'Cre8tiv' - inspirational activities for groups or individuals and the 'VIP award nomination scheme' giving 'girls in need' a 'life lift'. RGUK’s products and services have the government’s ‘Every child matters’ five outcomes at the core and seek to build ‘foundations for life’ that have longevity.
RGUK connects with girls and young women from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds, as well as targeted, ‘at risk’ groups. RGUK aims to see girls overcome the factors that affect their self-worth and become stronger. RUBYGIRL UK embraces the fact that ‘ You can’t change the past, but you CAN change the future’. RGUK offers its services to secondary schools, youth groups /clubs, pupil referral units, inclusion projects, teenage mum programs, youth offending institutions, events, festivals and churches… in fact any establishment that works with girls aged between 14 and 23.
RGUK is based in Stoke On Trent and headed up by Dawn Reynolds-Deaville and supported by Director Emma Owen who work alongside an amazing management team of professionals, trainees, associates and volunteers, supported by ‘Special Advisor’ Jan Williams (mum to superstar Robbie Williams) and Diane Louise Jordan (TV presenter and author).
RGUK has just released a theme track called RUBYGIRL written and produced by The Message Trust’s hip-hop band Twelve 24 which is featured on their i-tunes EP – Better Words. The song is out now and is only 79p so please download it to raise finance for vulnerable girls in the UK!
