The Sophia Network blog has won the Surefish Church Website blog of the year award! Sharon Prior and Wendy Beech Ward went and collected our prize at Christian Aid's offices in London today. You can see a picture of them here along with a list of all the other winners.
The aim of the blog is to highlight the ways in which gender impacts young people and adults both within the church and outside it, to provide content that will benefit your work and ministry, to profile inspiring women and to link to useful resources and articles. We're delighted to have been given this award. Thanks to Jonny Baker for helping to design the blog, and to all the writers who have contributed articles, interviews, book reviews and reflections.
If you are new to the Sophia Network, then find out more about us here, or sign up to become a member here. You don't have to be a youthworker to join the network; if you're a woman in children's ministry, church leadership or other forms of ministry, or in work and think the network would be useful to you then you are very welcome. Men who support the network can become Friends of Sophia. Enjoy having a good browse!

The Sophia Network exists to connect women in youth work and ministry to access training, develop skills and share wisdom.

This is brilliant news and a worthy comment on the way that God is honouring and blessing Sophia Network in it's work for His Kingdom.'Carry out my charge and your success will prove me true...'- Exodus 3:12
