We held our second annual consultation on 1 July, asking the question how can organisations and churches be places where both men and women can thrive in ministry? It was an excellent day with high quality input and thoughtful discussion. We have plenty to take forward as the Sophia Network, but it was particularly rewarding to be able to share the day with like-minded people such as Mandy Marshall and Andrew McCracken from Tearfund who spoke about their gender audit and Sally Nash from CYM who talked about the skills needed for collaborative ministry.
For those of you who attended the day, here are is an overall summary of the day plus handouts from the presentations. Please contact the speakers or us if you want to use these in any context.
